Bible Studies

As God's written Word, the Bible is the primary way to know Him, His nature, and His plans.  Bible studies are essential for believers to deepen their relationship with God, understand His character, and align their lives with divine wisdom. Group Bible studies, led by knowledgeable and Godly teachers, can provide spiritual nourishment and guidance for living a daily life that is both pleasing and honouring to God.  They foster personal growth, and can enable us to learn to distinguish what is God’s truth and will in a complex and broken world.

The book of Daniel.

led by Andrew Bunt

A bit about Andrew Bunt:

Andrew lives in Bexhill and is an experienced Bible teacher.  He serves on a team at a church in Bexhill, helping with the teaching and preaching, and was assistant pastor there for a number of years before moving on to work as Emerging Generations director at the charity Living Out. He studied theology at Durham University and King’s College London.

What Andrew most likes to do is to open up the Bible with people, helping them to understand what it actually says and what it actually means to us today. He is the author of a number of books, including ‘People Not Pronouns’ (Grove Books) and ‘Finding Your Best Identity’ (IVP).

In the words of one of his friends: ‘On paper you should be boring, but you’re actually quite good fun.’

About this Bible study series

The book of Daniel is both one of the best and least known books in the Bible. The early chapters contain stories that most of us are very familiar with, yet some of the latter chapters are the least known, most avoided and least preached on.

In this 4-part Bible study series Andrew will help us to explore both the familiar and unfamiliar within this book, to show how it is all hugely relevant for us in our day and age, in particularly to those of us who are followers of Jesus or want to follow Jesus today.

Each study session includes time for discussion, group activities plus questions and answers. If you would like to join in whilst listening online, there are some resources that you can download and print.  Just look for the links below each precis.
